KBFM Global Services N.W.T. Ltd. is a corporative group business headquartered in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada, delivering professional and dependable services across Northern Canada. Built on a strong foundation of hands-on expertise in facility maintenance, operations, and service delivery, the company is driven by a commitment to excellence in every environment it serves. Our founder, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Chimere Bornking, brings years of experience from his work with Bouwa Whee Catering at the Diavik Mine, where he gained extensive knowledge in safety compliance, sanitation standards, and environmental stewardship. This experience shapes our understanding of what it takes to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming spaces, especially in the unique climates of the North.

Our nine business service divisions include Private Security, Janitorial & Cleaning, Home Health Care, Employment & Staffing, Transportation & Logistics, Resort & Short Stay Services, Agriculture & Food Supply, Tertiary Education, and Printing & Publication Services. In addition to our business operations, KBFM Global Services also embodies a strong spiritual mandate through three service arms: the Bible College & University (ICCU), Global Ministry Outreach & K.E.C Partners, and First Nation Christian Services (NGO). These initiatives reflect our commitment to community empowerment, spiritual growth, and developmental support for Indigenous and Northern communities. BRIEF HISTORY
The Inspiring Journey Behind KBFM Global Services N.W.T.
KBFM Global Services N.W.T. Ltd traces its origins to the Kenneth Bornking Faith Movement (KBFM), founded by Dr. Kenneth Chimere Bornking in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The vision that would later grow into a multifaceted corporate and spiritual organization began in 1991 through a dream, inspiring him to launch both a restaurant—Anointed Kitchen—and a Bible School. The Bible School quickly gained momentum, achieving the remarkable milestone of graduating 1,000 students in a single day. This early success laid a strong foundation for Dr. Bornking’s lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and community empowerment.
In 2002, KBFM expanded its operations with the establishment of a taxi company and a non-profit Christian outreach ministry, further widening its impact across West Africa. However, due to political unrest in Ivory Coast in 2010, Dr. Bornking relocated to Canada, where he continued building the vision despite significant challenges. Residing first in Owen Sound, Ontario, and later in Montreal, Quebec, he operated a seasonal Bible School while still a refugee claimant. His journey of resilience continued as he moved to Calgary in 2012, where he gained valuable experience working with United Safety and Securitas Security before relocating to Yellowknife in 2019.
Dr. Bornking’s time in Yellowknife played a pivotal role in shaping the future of KBFM. After working for five years with Bouwa Whee Catering as a janitor, he deepened his understanding of safety standards, facility maintenance, and northern operations. Equipped with extensive certifications—including security, health and safety, nursing assistance, private investigation, governance, and multiple theological degrees—he officially established KBFM Global Services N.W.T. Ltd. in January 2025. Today, the company stands as the culmination of over three decades of vision, dedication, and diverse professional experience, evolving from a dream in West Africa into a dynamic corporate group serving Northern Canada.
